Will charging the car drain my home battery?

No — not unless you choose to. Your EV normally charges from surplus solar or cheap off-peak grid power, and we set the system so your home battery stays reserved for your house rather than emptying into the much larger car battery. You control the priorities from the app.

Can an EV charger use my solar?

Yes — a solar-matching charger (such as Zappi) can charge from surplus PV.

How long does it take to charge?

A 7 kW home charger adds roughly a full charge overnight for most EVs; exact times depend on your car's battery.
